Pink, pink, pink!! We celebrate breast cancer awareness month in October. Thanks to wonderful women like Nancy Brinker who founded the Susan G Komen Foundation and Dr. Marisa Weis who founded both Living Beyond Breast Cancer and the website www.breastcancer.org, this cancer is now cured most of the time. Remember that early detection is key and annual mammograms after 40 can save lives. Treat the woman you love to the gift of a screening mammogram and reward her with her favorite treat afterward.
